Research Collaboration Positions

The project "PLATform for INnOvative services in future internet" aims at designing an innovative platform for multimedia services and contents.

Research topics

The Control of Computing and Communication Systems Lab (C3LAB) is looking for graduates, PhDs and PostDocs to conduct research activities in one of the following topics:

  • control algorithms for the optimal allocation of multimedia contents in the cloud
  • adaptive video-streaming control algorithms
  • congestion control algorithms for multimedia flows

Requirements

The ideal candidate has a solid background in networking, control systems (time delay systems, hybrid systems), discrete event simulators (Omnet, NS2, NS3) and object-oriented programming.
