Paolo Lino received the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Politecnico di Bari, Italy, in 2000, and the PhD in Electronics and Automation from University of Catania, Italy, in 2004. In 2003 he has been a visiting researcher at the ACE Center of University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM, USA, under a NASA grant. From 2004 to 2010 he has been professor of Industrial Automation and Process Control Systems at Politecnico di Bari. Currently, he is an assistant professor at Politecnico di Bari, where he teaches Robotics and Digital Control Systems. His main research interests are in the field of intelligent control, predictive control and modeling and control of electromechanical and automotive systems.
