Gaetano Carlucci has graduated in Telecommunications Engineering in October 2011 (Politecnico di Bari) with honor. Since May 2012, he is a Ph.D. student at "'''Politecnico di Bari'''" and since January 2013 he is also a Ph.D student at “Scuola Interpolitecnica di dottorato“ coordinated by "'''Politecnico di Torino'''".

From January to July 2014 he collaborated with the Video and Content Platforms Research and Advanced Development Group at '''Cisco Systems''' in Boston (USA) under the supervision of Ali Begen and Josh Gahm.
