Short CV
Gaetano Carlucci has graduated in Telecommunications Engineering in October 2011 (Politecnico di Bari) with honor. Since May 2012, he is a Ph.D. student at "Politecnico di Bari" and since January 2013 he is also a Ph.D student at “Scuola Interpolitecnica di dottorato“ coordinated by "Politecnico di Torino".
From January to July 2014 he collaborated with the Video and Content Platforms Research and Advanced Development Group at
Cisco Systems in Boston (USA) under the supervision of Ali Begen and Josh Gahm.
We have been awarded with the
Google Faculty Award 2014 for designing a congestion control algorithm for real-time communication within the WebRTC framework to enable video conference among Web browsers.
