Gaetano Carlucci has graduated in Telecommunications Engineering in October 2011 (Politecnico di Bari) with honor. He received the PhD in Information and Communication Engineering in March 2015 from both "Politecnico di Bari" and “Scuola Interpolitecnica di dottorato“ coordinated by "Politecnico di Torino".
From January to July 2014 he collaborated with the Video and Content Platforms Research and Advanced Development Group at Cisco Systems in Boston (USA) under the supervision of Ali Begen and Josh Gahm.We have been awarded with the Google Faculty Award 2014 for designing a congestion control algorithm for real-time communication within the WebRTC framework to enable video conference among Web browsers.
