Paolo Lino received the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Politecnico di Bari, Italy, in 2000, and the PhD in Electronics and Automation from University of Catania, Italy, in 2004. In 2003 he has been a visting researcher at the ACE Center of University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM, USA, under a NASA grant. In 2004 and 2005 he has been a lecturer for the Industrial Automation course at Politecnico di Bari. Currently he is a associate researcher at Politecnico di Bari and a lecturer for the Process Control course. His main research interests are in the field of intelligent control, predictive control and modeling and control of electro-mechanical and automotive systems for low cost microcontrollers implementations. He is co-author of 30+ peer reviewed papers published in international conference proceedings, international journals or book chapters. He has also served as a reviewer for various international journals and conferences.
