Gioacchino Manfredi graduated cum laude in Control Engineering in October 2018 from the Sapienza University of Rome with a thesis entitled Preventive Controller Optimal Design for Critical Infrastructure Security. In March 2019, he was awarded the excellent graduate prize from the Sapienza University of Rome. He received the Ph.D. degree in electric and information engineering from the Polytechnic of Bari, Bari, Italy, in 2023. His research interests include adaptive video streaming, QoE and QoS management for video streaming services, 360° video streaming, consensus in multi-agent systems, and deep reinforcement learning techniques for nonlinear control.
