Vito Andrea Racanelli graduated cum laude in Control Engineering from the Politecnico di Bari in October 2021, with a thesis titled "Autonomous Driving Systems: The AGV's Case." In January 2025, he earned his Ph.D. in Control Engineering, focusing on autonomous mobile robots, model predictive control, and networked systems.
His research spans multiple areas, including control strategies for industrial autonomous vehicles, predictive control for adaptive video streaming, and decentralized coordination of UAV swarms. He has presented his work at international conferences such as IFAC SAFEPROCESS, IEEE CCNC, and ICUAS.
Vito Andrea Racanelli is a member of the Control Engineering and Computer Science Laboratory (C3Lab) at Politecnico di Bari, where he collaborates on projects related to robotics and control theory.
