IEEE CDC '082008 July In this paper we derive a mathematical model of the Skype VoIP congestion control in order to evaluate properties such as efficiency in network utilization while avoiding congestion, which is particularly detrimental for VoIP traffic.
NOSSDAV '082008 May In this paper we investigate Skype Video in order to discover to what extent this application is able to throttle its sending rate in order to match the unpredictable Internet bandwidth while preserving resources for co-existing best-effort TCP traffic.
